Many of my friends and work colleagues are intrigued as to why I have set up a private skin health and wellbeing clinic whilst continuing to work as a GP in the NHS. The driving force behind this is that I want to have a part of my working week that I can take complete control of. I can choose how I want my business to look and what services I can offer. I can spend as long as I want with my patients in this environment and have freedom to offer treatments unavailable on the NHS. So far it has been a completely liberating experience! I love being a GP and continue to work in a phenomenal practice in the New Forest in Lymington. My fellow GPs, nurses and friends and other half have been full of encouragement. I am very grateful for their support.
In addition, we added to our family with our first dog two years ago. Amber, a working labrador @amberfoxredlab. She has brought so much happiness into our home and has taught me how to relax and truly switch off from the pace of work. She has also empowered me to seize the day and live in the moment more. I have found courage to take hold of something that is truly of my own making and feel she aided this. Feeling incredibly excited about the evolution of @tonicmedical. Looking forward to continuing learning, expanding my skills and offering services to patients in the New Forest and beyond.
